नई दिल्ली: 18वीं लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष पद के लिए नामांकन आज, मंगलवार को जमा किए गए. ओम बिड़ला एनडीए की ओर से स्पीकर उम्मीदवार हैं. मंगलवार को 18वीं लोकसभा के अध्यक्ष पद के लिए नामांकन जमा करने का दिन था। अध्यक्ष पद के लिए नामांकन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि दोपहर 12 बजे है.
समय रहते एनडीए स्पीकर उम्मीदवार ओम बिरला ने आज सुबह 11.30 बजे अपना नामांकन दाखिल कर दिया. 8 बार के कांग्रेस सांसद के सुरेश ने विपक्षी गठबंधन के स्पीकर उम्मीदवार के रूप में अपना नामांकन दाखिल किया।
संयोग से उनका नाम कांग्रेस की ओर से प्रोटेम स्पीकर बनने के लिए भी भेजा गया था. आज संसद में प्रवेश करते हुए राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि राजनाथ सिंह ने स्पीकर पद के लिए विपक्ष का समर्थन लेने के लिए सोमवार को मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे को फोन किया था. तब पूरे विपक्ष की ओर से यह प्रस्ताव रखा गया कि उपसभापति का पद विपक्ष को दिया जाना चाहिए. तब के सुरेश ने अपना नामांकन दाखिल किया क्योंकि मंगलवार सुबह तक राजनाथ की ओर से कोई जवाब नहीं आया था.
बता दें कि अगर जरूरत पड़ी तो कल बुधवार को स्पीकर का चुनाव हो सकता है. इंडिया अलायंस ने स्पीकर और डिप्टी स्पीकर के साथ बनाई रणनीति. हालांकि, सूत्रों के मुताबिक, मोदी सरकार स्पीकर और डिप्टी स्पीकर पद पर आम सहमति के आधार पर आगे बढ़ना चाहती है. विपक्ष से बात करने की जिम्मेदारी राजनाथ सिंह और किरण रिजिजू को दी गई है. अगर इंडिया अलायंस ने अपना उम्मीदवार वापस नहीं लिया तो भारतीय संसद के इतिहास में पहली बार स्पीकर का चुनाव बुधवार को होगा.
